Summary
While Danny and Colleen struggle to stop a war between the Triads that will devastate Chinatown, Davos struggles with his principles and Ward struggles to decipher Joy’s scheme.
Our Take
This is a solid setup hour that moves the pieces around without much payoff yet. The Triad tension in Chinatown gives the season some real stakes, and Ward’s scenes with Joy are more fun than they have any right to be, but Davos’ soul-searching drags hard. Worth watching if you’re on board, just don’t expect anything to actually resolve.
