Summary
Family bonds are put to the test. Under pressure, Allen makes a new friend.
Our Take
A heavy, emotionally raw hour that leans on the voice cast and mostly earns its big confrontations. The Allen subplot provides welcome comic relief without undercutting the tension, and the animation steps up when it counts. It drags slightly in the middle stretch, but the ending lands hard enough that you’ll forgive the pacing. Worth your time, easily one of the season’s best.
