Summary
Torn between Mysaria and Daemon’s visions for her reign, Rhaenyra grows desperate for a sign that she will prevail.
Our Take
A quiet, wintry hour that leans on prophecy and prophecy-adjacent moping, but it mostly earns the slow pace. Rhaenyra’s crisis of faith gives Emma D’Arcy real material to work with, and the Daemon tension finally crackles instead of simmering. Some scenes circle the same question twice when once would do. Still, it’s an absorbing, well-acted breather before whatever chaos comes next.
