Summary
Cullen grapples with Ruth’s unexpected decision; Louise jeopardizes her reputation to fight for a story she believes in.
Our Take
A grim, talky hour that leans hard on fallout from last week’s events, and Cullen’s brooding can only carry so much of it. The Louise subplot finally gives her journalist something real to fight for, which is a nice change of pace. Still, the pacing drags in the middle and the ending feels more like a shrug than a cliffhanger. Watchable, but not essential.
