Fear Itself

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

With supplies running low, Hal and Kilowog search an uncharted planet for food and find themselves each stranded on different sides of the two warring species that live here.

Our Take

A slower, quieter episode that leans on character over action, and it mostly pays off. Watching Hal and Kilowog work separate sides of a planet’s conflict gives both heroes room to breathe, though the warring species themselves are pretty thin. The emotional beats land better than the world-building, but it’s a solid hour that earns its runtime without breaking new ground.
