Summary
Gary goes home and must confront a horror unlike any other – a family dinner with his parents and annoyingly perfect brother Steve.
Our Take
A nice change of pace that swaps monster hunting for family awkwardness, and the show is funnier for it. The dinner scenes land because Gary’s misery works even better without demons to punch. Steve’s relentless cheerfulness is a good foil, though the parents feel a bit thin. Short, mean, and pretty funny, worth a watch even if the ending wraps up too neatly.
