Arya has a surprise visitor; Dany vows to take what is hers; Joffrey meets his subjects; Qhorin gives Jon a chance to prove himself.
Our Take
A packed hour that somehow balances four storylines without feeling rushed. The riot in King’s Landing is genuinely tense, and Joffrey getting slapped with cow dung is the show at its most satisfying. Jon’s scenes with Ygritte finally give his storyline some spark. A few Dany scenes drag, but this is one of the season’s stronger entries.
