Summary
Bender fathers a child with the office soda machine
Our Take
The season premiere leans hard on Bender’s deadbeat dad storyline, and it’s funnier than it probably should be. The kid, Ben, is oddly sweet, and the ending lands an actual emotional beat, even if the soda machine romance itself is thin. A decent bounce back after the movies, nothing groundbreaking but a pleasant half hour.
