Summary
After a devastating crash, the Professor attempts to resuscitate the crew with his birth machine.
Our Take
A solid comeback episode that spends most of its runtime undoing the cliffhanger from the movies, which means the plot mostly exists as scaffolding for jokes. The rebirth gimmick produces some good gags and a fun twist with Leela, though the pacing feels a bit frantic as it rushes to restore the status quo. Worth watching if you’re glad the show is back, just don’t expect a classic.
