Fry learns his accidental freezing 1,004 years earlier wasn’t an accident. He is given a choice that could prevent its happening, but at a cost.
Our Take
A satisfying payoff episode that finally connects the dots on why Fry landed in the future, and the show handles it with real affection instead of just winking at lore nerds. The Nibblonian stuff is goofy in the best way, and the emotional beats land harder than you’d expect from a talking poop-joke universe. Worth your time, especially if you’ve been watching in order.
