Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Leela becomes the first — and worst — female blernsball player. Title sequence tagline ‘Scratch here to reveal prize’.
Our Take
A middling sports parody that gets decent mileage out of Leela being hilariously oblivious to her own awfulness. The blernsball gags land often enough, and Hank Aaron Jr.’s cameo is a fun touch, but the story runs out of steam well before the ninth inning. Fine for a lazy watch, just don’t expect a season highlight.
