Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After Bender sells an NFT representing the “Concept of Bender”, he feels lost and returns to his ancestral village in Mexico to rediscover himself.
Our Take
A solid season opener that gets good mileage out of Bender’s identity crisis, and the NFT jokes land better than you’d expect in 2024. The Mexican village material is where the episode finds its heart, though the middle stretch repeats the same gag a few too many times. Not a classic, but a fun, easy watch that earns its rating.
