Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Hohenheim and Alphonse enjoy a chance to get reacquainted. Their bond is restored with ease, inspiring the father to share his secrets with his sons – but one of them is far away and on the run.
Our Take
This is a quiet, talky hour that mostly works because Hohenheim finally opening up to Al gives their awkward family history some real warmth. The pacing sags in the middle when the exposition runs long, but the emotional payoff lands. Worth your time if you’ve been waiting for the old man to explain himself.
