Summary
Hohenheim’s visit ends with a grave warning to Pinako, but Ed finds hope among the charred ruins of his childhood. Now more than ever, he has confidence that Al can be returned to his body.
Our Take
This is a quieter, reflective hour that lets Ed sit with his grief instead of racing past it, and it mostly earns the slowdown. The scenes with Hohenheim sting precisely because so little gets resolved, though the pacing does sag in stretches. Worth watching for the emotional reset alone, even if the plot barely moves.
