Summary
Neal learns his father is cheating on his mother. Ken develops a crush on the tuba player in the school’s marching band and Lindsay helps set them up.
Our Take
A quiet, heavy hour that leans on Neal, and Samm Levine handles it surprisingly well, playing the humor as a shield instead of a punchline. The Ken subplot gives some relief, though it’s thinner than it thinks it is. What sticks is the awkward silence between Neal and Bill near the end, which says more than any speech could. Worth the time.
