A slower burn that mostly works, giving Day’s political maneuvering room to breathe while Demerzel’s power struggle delivers the episode’s best tension. The Magnifico subplot finally justifies its screen time, though the Gaal and Dawn material feels like setup for later. Worth your time if you’ve stuck with the season this far.
