This is the episode where the show’s dark comedy really clicks, with Walton Goggins getting more room to be unsettling and weirdly sympathetic at once. Some of the Wasteland side quests drag a bit and feel like video game filler. Still, it’s a confident, grimly funny hour that keeps the momentum going and earns its high rating.
