Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Duckman and Cornfed hire a college intern for the agency. The intern undermines Cornfed’s reputation and indulges Duckman’s self destructive behavior. Duckman must choose between his flashy new assistant (who may be trying to kill him) and his old partner.
Our Take
A solid Cornfed-centric episode that leans on their odd-couple dynamic, and Jason Alexander’s sidekick gets some rare room to carry the plot. The intern’s smarmy charm works better than the murder subplot, which resolves too fast to feel like real stakes. Worth a watch for the character stuff, even if the ending wraps up cleaner than it should.
