Summary
Convicted of fraud, Duckman is sentenced to 5,000 hours of community service. He is sent to a dangerous inner city high school, located a half a block from his house, where he becomes a substitute teacher and it turns out that his is the most “Dangerous Mind”.
Our Take
A decent premise that fits Duckman’s sour worldview, but the satire of inspirational teacher movies never sharpens into anything memorable. Jason Alexander’s ranting keeps the jokes moving and a few jabs at the education system land, though the middle sags with recycled bits. It’s a serviceable episode, and as an accidental series finale it feels like an odd place to leave things.
