Summary
Duckman is jealous when everyone showers Cornfed with their attention, so he fires him while working their next case, which involves the “murder” of the owner of a Steak and Waffle on a Stick factory.
Our Take
A solid mid-season episode that leans on the Duckman-Cornfed dynamic, and their breakup gives Jason Alexander and Gregg Berger plenty to chew on. The Steak and Waffle mystery is thin, but the gags come fast enough to cover for it. Not the season’s best, though it’s a fun watch for anyone curious where the Cornfed partnership came from.
