Summary
Duckman is hired by a televangelist to find a missing painting and has a near death experience after being captured and suffocated with cellophane.
Our Take
A weirdly ambitious early swing that pits Duckman against a scam artist preacher and then sends him to the afterlife, and the show’s mean streak works better here than it did in the pilot. The gags come fast and a few land hard, though the middle stretch drags once the mystery part runs out of gas. Worth a watch for the animation bits alone.
