Mandrake is in the process of legally adopting Kshin when suddenly Hal, an old Asian man, shows up claiming to be Kshin’s grandfather. He reminds Kshin of the moment as an infant when his parents died while searching for the Lost City of Dreams, which seems to validate his claim. They join together to go on a search for the city with a now complete map, but along the way they encounter the Dragon Queen, the evil being who killed Kshin’s mother and father.
