Ming has created a new weather controlling satellite, but he needs the special circuity in Rick’s communicator ring in order to get it to function properly. Relying upon Rick’s impulsiveness, he capture Flash Gordon in order to draw Rick to him. Rick rushes off on his own to save his father and plays right into Ming’s hands. The other Defenders must rescue the pair and stop Ming before the villain can control the weather!
