Episode Summary & Review
Summary
George gets a new roommate, a 1930s ingenue whose death during the filming of “Gone with the Wind” caused quite the scandal. In other events, George is recruited to play on the company bowling team and Reggie erects a toilet seat tree as a memorial to her sister.
Our Take
The dead roommate plotline gives this episode its heart, and the 1930s actress is a genuinely fun addition who brings out a softer side of George. The bowling team stuff is filler, but Reggie’s toilet seat tree is weird and sad in the way this show does best. A strong hour that balances the morbid with the funny without forcing it.
