Summary
Surrounded by a group of rowdy edgerunners, David makes a plea to join their team. Meanwhile, sinister forces plot to lure him back to Arasaka Academy.
Our Take
This is the episode where the crew dynamics finally click, and watching David talk his way into a gang of misfits makes for a fun, scrappy hour. The Arasaka subplot creeps along in the background and mostly just treads water, but the character banter carries it. Worth your time if you’re already on board, though it’s more setup than payoff.
