Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When a clever clever con man, Professor DeSalvo, uses his class to cheat the study group, they enlist Jeff to get revenge. The situation goes awry as Britta and Dean Pelton get involved in Jeff and Professor DeSalvo’s scamming competition.
Our Take
A middling hour that leans hard on guest star Matt Berry’s booming delivery, which is funny for about ten minutes before the con-artist premise runs out of gas. Jeff’s rivalry with DeSalvo has some spark, but the Britta and Dean subplot feels like filler. Watchable, and Berry fans will enjoy it, but there’s little here you’ll remember by next week.
