Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Dean Pelton plans a “Sadie Hawkins” dance at Greendale, Britta plans a competing “Sophie B. Hawkins” dance in protest – but the joke is on Britta – who has confused Sophie B. Hawkins with Susan B. Anthony.
Our Take
This is one of the better outings from Community’s shaky fourth season, mostly because the Britta mix-up is exactly the kind of joke her character was built for. Abed’s two-dates subplot is thinner and telegraphs its ending early. It’s a decent, funny half hour that coasts on one great premise, worth watching if you’re already this deep into the season.
