Summary

Pierce and a few other Greendale students ingest a biohazard substance at the school Halloween Party, causing them to exhibit flu like symptoms and begin turning into zombies. It is up to the rest of the gang to save themselves and the school when Dean Pelton locks them in with the zombie infected student body.

Our Take

Community goes full genre riff this week and mostly pulls it off. The zombie premise is really just a delivery system for great bits: Abed and Troy’s Batman costumes, the ABBA soundtrack doing weirdly heavy lifting, and Pierce getting to be the worst version of himself. It’s a fun, tightly paced ride even if the plot resolution feels a bit quick. Worth your half hour.
