Summary
In the first season finale, jealousy runs rampant at Greendale as Britta and Professor Slater fight for the affection of Jeff. Meanwhile, Troy is confused when his best friend, Abed, doesn’t invite him to move into his dorm room.
Our Take
A strong closer that leans on the season’s romantic will-they-won’t-they without feeling like a retread. The prom chaos gives everyone a good beat, and the ending’s quiet Abed moment lands harder than expected. A bit sitcommy in the middle stretch, but it earns its cliffhanger and sets up season two nicely.
