Summary
As Sarah works to free Chuck’s mom, Chuck and Morgan embark on their own mission to take down Alexei Volkoff. Meanwhile, Casey bonds with his daughter, Alex, while Ellie tries to ease Awesome’s anxieties over fatherhood.
Our Take
A busy hour that somehow juggles four storylines without dropping any of them. The Volkoff takedown moves faster than expected, and Casey getting real with Alex lands the emotional weight better than most of the spy stuff this season. Some of the Chuck and Morgan antics feel like filler, but the payoffs at the end are earned. Worth your time, especially if you’ve been waiting on the mom storyline.
