Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After Chuck’s father Steve is kidnapped by Fulcrum, Chuck learns the only chance he has to find him is by putting his trust and life into the hands of the person he trusts the least; his former girlfriend Jill Roberts. Meanwhile, the Buy More team tries to sabotage Emmett’s corporate evaluation.
Our Take
A tense hour that leans hard on the Chuck and Jill dynamic, and it mostly works because the show commits to how uncomfortable the whole arrangement is. The Buy More sabotage plot is filler, but it’s goofy enough to give the heavy spy stuff some breathing room. Worth your time, even if the villain stuff wraps up a bit too neatly.
