Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Varney and Ratko discover their plan is working, but who gets the credit? Also, Zamfir finally takes Belmont and Sypha underground.
Our Take
A tense, well-paced hour that finally drags Trevor and Sypha into Dracula’s crypt and lets the banter carry the dread. Zamfir’s fanaticism makes for a decent foil, and the Varney subplot pays off with a reveal that recontextualizes the season’s slow burn. Some of the underground trek feels padded, but the ending lands hard enough to make it worth sticking around for.
