Summary
Night falls on Lindenfeld and all manner of hell breaks loose. Also, Isaac meets the Magician, Hector makes a pledge, and Zumi and Taka make a move.
Our Take
The payoff episode mostly delivers, with the Lindenfeld chaos finally boiling over into some genuinely ugly and satisfying carnage. Isaac’s roadside encounter with the Magician is the quiet highlight, giving his arc a strange new wrinkle that promises big things. Some of the monastery buildup pays off better than the rest, but the momentum here is real and the season’s threads are snapping into place nicely.
