Summary
Michael and Sam try to rescue an ailing boy from his father, who took the boy to a heavily armed compound. Elsewhere, Fiona and Jesse keep an eye on a day laborer who could be tied to Max’s fate.
Our Take
This one splits its time between a compound standoff and the slow-burn Max investigation, and the B-story honestly carries more weight. The rescue plot is standard Burn Notice procedural stuff, workable but forgettable. Fiona and Jesse digging into the day laborer gives the season’s arc some real momentum. A perfectly fine hour that mostly exists to move the bigger story forward.
