Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Michael’s childhood friend is killed in a gang dispute, so Michael teams up with the victim’s brother to exact revenge on the gang. Elsewhere, Sam gathers information on Anson by infiltrating a college campus.
Our Take
A revenge plot that feels like well-worn territory for this show, but Jeffrey Donovan sells the anger well and the brother’s grief gives it some real weight. The college subplot with Sam undercover is mostly played for laughs and doesn’t connect to the Anson thread as much as it should. Decent, just not memorable.
