Our Take

Skyler buys the car wash. The Bogdan negotiation — lowballed, insulted, and then outmaneuvered by a fake environmental inspector (Skyler’s improvisation) — is the season’s comic engine, and it matters: the car wash is the family’s future, built on the exact kind of deception that made the money. Meanwhile, Marie’s open-house kleptomania resurfaces, and Hank, bedridden and raging, starts collecting minerals. The domestic front is now a full mirror of the criminal one.
