Summary
Goings on at Jesse’s place start to get out of control; Skyler reluctantly turns to Saul for help; Marie settles back into an old habit; and Hank hears from an old friend who needs assistance.
Our Take
Skyler buys the car wash. The Bogdan negotiation, lowballed, insulted, and then outmaneuvered by a fake environmental inspector (Skyler’s improvisation), is the season’s comic engine, and it matters: the car wash is the family’s future, built on the exact kind of deception that made the money. Meanwhile, Marie’s open house kleptomania resurfaces, and Hank, bedridden and raging, starts collecting minerals. The domestic front is now a full mirror of the criminal one.
