S3E8
I See You
Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The White and Schrader families anxiously await word on Hank’s condition. Meanwhile, Jesse takes care of business at the lab while Walt tries to make peace with Gus, but after witnessing a terrifying flash of anger, Walt starts to fear for his and his family’s lives.
Our Take
The aftermath hour: the hospital, the cousins dying one bed apart, and Gus’s cold calculus exposed — he engineered the ambush to trigger the cartel’s own rules against killing DEA. Hank lives because Gus needs him to. Walt, watching from the hallway, understands for the first time the scale of the man he works for. Meanwhile, Skyler’s laundering plan (the car wash) starts its slow roll, and Marie’s shoplifting resurfaces as the family’s comic relief pressure valve.
