Summary
Jimmy works his magic in the courtroom. Unexpected inspiration leads him to an unconventional pursuit of potential clients.
Our Take
A quiet, patient start that spends most of its hour establishing Jimmy McGill as a guy barely scraping by, and Bob Odenkirk makes that struggle fun to watch even when the pacing drags. The courtroom scenes crackle, but the elder law subplot takes a while to find its footing. Worth it mostly for the promise of what’s coming.
