Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Robin discovers that Gil Mason is in league with the underworld and goes to investigate him. He encounters Batgirl along the way, and go their separate ways to stop Mason. They then meet again to learn that Gil is working with Two-Face to take out Gordon, and have Batman (as Matches Malone) captured.
Our Take
The conclusion wraps things up efficiently but never really surprises, leaning on Two-Face as a decent villain while Gil Mason stays a pretty flat traitor. Batgirl’s formal introduction is the real draw here, and her chemistry with Robin carries the slower stretches. Worth watching for the milestone moment, just don’t expect the payoff to match the setup.
