Summary
When District Attorney Harvey Dent collapses after a meal with his fiancée Pamela Isley and friend Bruce Wayne, doctors discover that he has been poisoned. Batman must find the culprit and the antidote before the DA’s time runs out.
Our Take
A solid Poison Ivy debut that benefits from Diane Pershing’s cool, unhurried voice work, but the mystery side is thin since the culprit is obvious from the opening minutes. The race for the antidote keeps things moving, though Harvey’s illness never feels as urgent as it should. Decent fun, just don’t expect the tension the premise promises.
