Summary
Cameron Kaiser builds a casino hotel modeled after the Joker, called “The Joker’s Wild”. The Joker sees this on the news and, enraged, escapes from Arkham again, with one thought on his mind: destroying the casino, unaware that this is exactly what Kaiser wants him to do as part of an insurance claim.
Our Take
A slick caper episode with a fun hook: Joker breaking out to destroy a casino that’s actually baiting him. Mark Hamill clearly has a blast with the material, and the twist lands well even if you see parts of it coming. Lighter on emotional weight than the series’ best, but a fast, entertaining hour with great atmosphere. Worth it.
