Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A mysterious bat like creature terrorizes Gotham City, causing the police force to pursue Batman. The Dark Knight must find the real perpetrator to clear his name.
Our Take
A strong debut case for the series that leans hard into noir atmosphere, with the Batcave reveal and the Man-Bat chase still looking great decades later. The mystery itself is thin and solved a bit too fast, but the moody animation and Danny Elfman’s score carry it. Worth your time, even if the plot is mostly a delivery vehicle for the vibes.
