Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Recalling a series of prison therapy sessions that fueled his hatred of Rabbit, and pressured by Xavier’s insistence that the FBI handle a kidnapping case, Lucas makes a decision that will change the fates of Carrie, her family, Sugar, Job and the entire Banshee police force. A special delivery at Alex’s doorstep leads Nola to reconsider her future; Kai teaches Rebecca the power of telecommunications.
Our Take
A messy, bloody finale that mostly sticks the landing. The prison flashbacks give Lucas’s rage some real weight, and the showdown with Rabbit pays off a season of buildup, even if it wraps a bit too neatly. Kai and Rebecca’s subplot keeps things simmering for next year. Worth your time if you’ve come this far, and the cliffhanger lands hard.
