Summary
Ash discovers that his severed hand has a mind–and a body–of its own. The knowledge will cost one of his allies dearly as Ash tries to bury the Necronomicon in the root cellar beneath the cabin where it all began.
Our Take
This is a grim hour that trades the show’s usual momentum for dread, and it mostly works. The return to the cabin lands hard, and the severed hand stuff is as gross and fun as you’d hope. It sags a bit in the middle when the plot pauses for grief, but the final stretch delivers a gut punch that earns its weight. Worth your time.
