Summary
While Ruby agrees to lend Amanda a hand tracking down Ash, Ash, Pablo and Kelly meet Pablo’s brujo uncle. However, his attempts to guide Ash to the truth are short circuited when an enemy within the group is revealed.
Our Take
A slower, moodier hour that trades splatter for some welcome world-building at Pablo’s uncle’s place. The ritual scenes drag a bit, but the possessed Kelly stuff pays off with a genuinely creepy reveal that sets up the back half of the season. Not the funniest episode, but the dread is effective and it earns its place. Worth it if you’re already on board.
