Summary
The college fair comes to Whitlock, and Sarika has an offer to Jack: Get her into Harvard, and she’ll get his book into the hands of her publisher aunt. Meanwhile, Stef prepares for a visit from a fling, Helen applies to college, and Durbin tries to cement his legacy.
Our Take
A decent finale that splits its time a little too evenly, with the Jack and Sarika deal getting the most laughs. Helen’s college application stuff is sweet if predictable, and Durbin’s legacy obsession runs thin fast. It ends without much of a hook for next season, which feels like a missed opportunity. Fine way to spend twenty minutes, just don’t expect big swings.
