Summary
With the identity of the timeline unraveling “thread” revealed, the team’s mission to protect him at all costs leads each agent to question their own values.
Our Take
A fun noir-flavored hour that leans hard into its 1931 setting, and mostly gets away with it. The period detail and Coulson’s dry commentary carry things, though the villain plot feels pretty thin and the “protect the target” storyline is standard stuff. Worth watching for the atmosphere and character banter, just don’t expect much forward momentum.
