Summary
Izel uses Flint’s powers to open a gateway to her dimension and bring her people through. Melinda tries to convince Sarge that he’s a good person with or without Coulson, and Deke has enough of everyone looking down on him.
Our Take
A mostly solid setup hour that gets the pieces in place for the finale, though the Izel material drags whenever it’s just her monologuing about her dimension. Ming-Na Wen does good work in the Melinda and Sarge scenes, and the Deke subplot finally gives him something to react to instead of just quips. Worth watching, just don’t expect much payoff yet.
