Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As they come to their grips with their new surroundings, Coulson, Mack, and Elena are forced to make a deal with a crime lord, Grill. Meanwhile, Jemma is captured by the Kree, and Daisy discovers who was responsible for Earth’s fate.
Our Take
The second half of the premiere settles into the space station setting nicely, and the Kree stuff with Jemma gives the season its first real sense of menace. Grill is a fairly generic crime boss though, and the episode spends a lot of time on setup. Solid world-building hour, but you can feel it stretching to fill two episodes.
