Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A group claiming to be the Inhumans Resistance launches a series of blackouts across the globe. Jeffrey suspects something more is going on and sends Coulson, Mack, and Fitz to investigate. Meanwhile, Daisy learns more about Robbie and his brother Gabe, and Jemma and Holden struggle to save Melinda’s life.
Our Take
A busy hour that juggles three storylines without dropping any of them completely. The blackout plot gives Mack a decent showcase, and the Daisy and Robbie scenes finally add some warmth to the Ghost Rider arc. The May material mostly exists to set up future problems, which drags a bit, but the pacing holds. Solid middle-tier Shield, worth watching if you’re already on board.
